The Neo Rean from Japanese lure maker Adusta is two topwater baits in one: a loud popper and a walk-the-dog bait. Tie to the upper line eye for a deep chugging pop, or to the lower eye for a quick side-to-side walk with an occasional pop.
Features
Two line eyes, two actions: upper eye = chugger/popper, lower eye = walk-the-dog.
Big cupped mouth grabs more air for a loud pop and a trail of bubbles.
Recessed eyes and chin pull even more air into the mouth on every twitch.
Centered eye placement splits the water evenly for a fast, agile action.
Sharply narrowed tail lets the bait turn quickly for tight walking.
Molded chin and tail weights give a low center of gravity and stable flight, with about 20% more casting distance per Adusta.
Realistic multi-layer paint with detailed scales, gill plates and 3D eyes.
Sharp BKK Fangs 62 treble hooks, with a dressed feather treble on the tail.
Target species: largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass
How to Fish It
Calm or clear water, bright sun: tie to the lower eye and walk the dog with gentle twitches and long pauses.
Choppy or stained water, low light: tie to the upper eye and work hard pops to push water and bubbles.
Early morning and evening: loud pops with a few seconds' pause between them. That pause is when most strikes come.
Tip: wait until you feel the weight of the fish before setting the hook.
